The citizens of Sikkim capital Gangtok are luckiest amongst all indian as they will be able to watch live telecast of vote counting 2009 lok sabha election on 16th may 2009 the result day . The vote counting will take place at TNA auditorium.

For the first time, residents of Sikkim capital Gangtok will watch a live telecast of poll results in the state May 16. That's the day when counting will take place at TNA auditorium.


Election comission office has tieup with local TV providers, Nayuma Cable, for live telecast of lok sabha election 2009 result and vote counting display of the counting process at Titanic Park here at MG Marg.

A big screen will be installed at Titanic Park. A similar live telecast of the counting process is also planned at the chief electoral office.

As the 16th may 2009 , the result day for lok sabha election 2009 is just few hours away , the Election commission of India has decided the Vote Counting centres in MP - Madhya Pradesh

The centres for counting of votes on May 16 have been fixed in all 50 districts of Madhya Pradesh for 29 Lok Sabha seats.

The vote counting for lok sabha election 2009 in Madhyapradesh will starts at 8 am at all the votecounting centres.

The counting of votes in Shyopur would take place at Govt PG College .

Vote Counting in Patna Security Tight

As vote counting in patna will start at 8 a.m. on 16th may 2009 the lok sabha election 2009 result day , the patna district administration has made appropriate preparation and tight security measure for peaceful vote counting in patna .

Security would be kept extremely tight on Boring Road on Saturday with all roads leading to A. N. College which is the vote counting centre for patna constituencies to be declared off limit for everybody except authorized government personnel.

Arrangements have been made to ensure there is no disruption in power even for a second until all vote counting has been completed and results sealed for the Election Commission of bihar .

Police and security guards would be deployed at various intersections on Bailey Road, Boring Road, Shivpuri, Sri Krishna Puri, Boring Canal Road, and Pataliputra Colony, the DM said.

The entire vote counting in patna will be captured on video cameras in the presence of top Election officials and a number of micro-observers appointed by the Election Commission of india .

Election commission of India has arranged 42 micro observers at Malavia college in Rajkot Distric for lok sabha election vote counting 2009 on 16th may 2009 for counting of votes for the Rajkot Lok Sabha constituency.

The decision was taken at a meeting of top officials held on Monday late in the evening. A list of the seven Assembly constituencies under Rajkot Lok Sabha area was prepared as well as seating arrangement for all 27 candidates discussed in the meeting. According to the plan, six tables for each Assembly constituency will be kept on which electronic voting machines (EVMs) will be put one by one for counting.

A separate computer room has been created from where round wise announcement will be made to inform people outside the college campus as well as figures of votes will be updated on EC website also.

Policemen will not be allowed to enter the vote counting hall as part of precautionary measure.
